Boosie Reacts to Verdict in Diddy's Trial: I'm Tired of Seeing Black Moguls Taken Down
Boosie has been vocal throughout Diddy's federal trial, and following the music mogul’s acquittal on the most serious charges — sex trafficking and racketeering — the Louisiana rapper shared his thoughts in a candid video reaction.
“Man, I’m so glad Diddy free, bruh,” Boosie began. “The reason is [because] I’m tired of seeing us Black moguls get took down like that. And I’m tired of seeing us Black people go against our Black moguls like that.”
Boosie went on to express his frustration with the perceived double standards in public support, adding, “If Diddy was a white man, they would’ve had so many white people out there protesting for him.”
Shifting the focus to Diddy’s family, Boosie reminded viewers of the human side of the case — particularly the impact on the Bad Boy founder’s children. “Y’all thinking about one person,” he said. “I’m thinking about these seven kids who’ve been in my kids’ position. Not knowing if your daddy gon’ come home or not — that’s a burden on a child.”
He wrapped up his remarks with a mix of concern and tough love: “I know his feeling right now. I’m just happy for them children. Diddy, sit yo a** down for a while. That’s what you need to do. Grab Stevie J and your children and get the f*** on.”
