A frightening moment unfolded during Beyoncé’s recent Houston concert when a mechanical issue struck mid-performance, causing her airborne “flying car” prop to suddenly tilt off balance.

While performing her emotional ballad “16 Carriages,” Queen Bey was suspended above the crowd in the elaborate set piece when it unexpectedly leaned to the side. Sensing something was off, Beyoncé abruptly halted the performance, repeating, “Stop, stop, stop.”

The sudden pause alarmed fans in the arena, some of whom began yelling for help as they watched the superstar stuck mid-air. Despite the scare, Beyoncé remained calm and composed, ultimately descending safely to the stage.

Proving her poise under pressure, she even lightened the mood once her feet were back on solid ground, joking, “If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me.”

Beyoncé didn’t mention the incident in her Instagram post after the show. Instead, she kept the focus on her love for her hometown, simply writing, “I love you, Houston.”
