Diddy Tells "Jane" to "Get on Your Job" in Newly Released Voicemail
A voice message was played for the jury on Friday (June 6) in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial in New York City. In the recording, Diddy can be heard sounding irritated as he tells a woman identified under the pseudonym “Jane” that she needs to focus on her “job.”
Jane, Diddy's ex-girlfriend, is testifying under a pseudonym as one of the key witnesses in the case. In the voicemail, Diddy warns her that he’s about to “disappear” on her, claiming he’s too old to be dealing with drama. He bluntly tells her, “You better get on your job.”
While the message may seem vague on its own, Jane testified that Diddy’s words were a reference to her needing to participate in more “hotel nights”—a term she said they used for what she described as “freak-offs,” or group sex encounters fueled by drugs.
According to Jane, she was involved in these encounters from May 2021 through August 2024. She testified that she regularly took drugs like ketamine and ecstasy to numb herself during the experiences, which she described as overwhelming and degrading.
Jane told the court she suffered from urinary tract infections, nipple infections, and lower back pain from being in various sexual positions for hours. She also testified that the freak-offs included male sex workers, including a man named “Syl,” whose travel from Atlanta to Los Angeles she arranged—alleging that Diddy paid for his airfare.
