Rapper and YouTuber DDG has been granted a temporary restraining order against actress and singer Halle Bailey, just weeks after she was awarded a similar order against him following allegations of physical and verbal abuse.

According to court documents filed this week, DDG not only sought protection but also requested sole legal and physical custody of the couple’s infant son. Additionally, he asked the court to prohibit Bailey from traveling internationally with their child — a request that was denied pending a formal hearing.

In the filing, DDG alleged that Halle “poses an immediate threat to my safety and emotional well-being and, more importantly, to the stability and safety of our son.” He further claimed that Bailey “routinely used emotional coercion, including but not limited to threats of self-harm” when he attempted to end their relationship. He also accused her of “weaponizing” the pregnancy, alleging she threatened to abort their baby if he did not comply with her demands or reconcile.

Supporting DDG’s claims, his mother and her fiancé submitted a statement alleging that Bailey left AirTags at DDG’s home after moving out — which they described as part of a “clear and deliberate pattern of unauthorized surveillance and stalking.”

Under the terms of the temporary order, Bailey is prohibited from harassing, assaulting, stalking, impersonating, or surveilling DDG.

Both parties’ requests for domestic violence restraining orders will be reviewed at a court hearing scheduled for June 24.
