The ongoing divorce between hip-hop couple Papoose and Remy Ma has taken a public turn, with both parties airing grievances through live streams and social media.

Remy Ma recently went live on Instagram, claiming that Papoose is attempting to portray himself as the "good guy" while allegedly refusing to sign divorce papers or retrieve his belongings from their shared home. She also claimed he couldn't afford legal representation for the divorce.

In response, Papoose took to his own livestream to share his side of the story—an unusual move for the typically private rapper. "Fans know I don’t usually speak on my personal life," he said, before going on to make several bold claims about his role in Remy's career.

“She wanna talk all this money talk and what I don’t got?” he said. “Since I met her, I have written 90% of the rhymes that came out of her mouth. I can type in any word from one of her songs, and the whole rap will pop up. I never asked for a penny or credit—I just wanted to see her win.”

When a viewer asked whether he had written Remy's 2006 hit “Conceited,” Papoose emphatically responded, “Yes, I did—and I put that on my daughter’s life.”

Remy Ma quickly fired back in the comments section of The Shade Room, writing: “He f***ing wish! He tryna find a way to ‘rightfully’ get $ from me. THAT’S why he hasn’t signed the papers—because he wants $. I paid for everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Boul was literally with his current come-up wearing MY jewelry. His was probably in the pawn shop AGAIN!”

Papoose then accused Remy of infidelity, alleging that she began seeing someone else in 2022. “That wasn’t the first time I caught her cheating,” he said. “I’ve caught her cheating numerous times since she’s been home.”

He also claimed that since their split, Remy has kept him from seeing their daughter. “Since I left, she has not allowed me to see my daughter. She’s been straight miserable,” he said. “All men out there who’ve been through this know how it gets when you’re dealing with a miserable individual.”

As of now, neither party has made additional public statements beyond their livestreams and social media posts. The divorce proceedings continue to unfold, with fans and onlookers closely watching one of hip-hop’s most high-profile breakups.
