The rodeo is one of the most dangerous arenas in American sports. Whether you're a bullfighter, bulldogger, or pick-up man, studies suggest that 100% of participants will incur an injury at one point or another--it's only a matter of time. While it isn't uncommon for bull riders to get knocked unconscious by bulls, fans have also been known to sustain traumatic injuries occasionally when a bull gets loose or if they dare to step into the dreaded "Ring of Fire."

The "Ring of Fire" is a chalk circle where six rodeo fans can come down from the stands and enter the arena after signing a waiver. From there, they see who can remain in the chalk circle without falling out, retreating in fear, or being ousted by the participating bull.

Footage recently surfaced of a female participant getting flattened by a bull after making the daring choice of stepping into the "Ring of Fire." Information about the severity of her injuries is scarce. Hopefully, she is on the mend.
